Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) Security Gates The Swing Gate Barrier is linked to the EAS Security Gate via dry contact signal.Should an item which has NOT been checked-out properly pass through the gate, the built-in alarm and LED will sound and flash respectively whilst sending a signal to the gate to lock-down. The gate barrier can be manually reset. A toggle switch is provided for the Operator to independently open/close the barrier arms.

Tagging Workstation fulfills this requirement using the Item Tagging & Arm/Disarm modules.
A Barcode Scanner on a stand is provided for this purpose.
The Library Staff will place a blank RFID Tag on the Antenna Pad, slide the barcode label of the item under the laser of the Barcode Scanner and the Tagging module will write the accession number to the tag.
We have proposed 3 units of LIBRA™ Tagging Station with the following features:

The user interface of Tagging Station is intuitive, easy to navigate and come in either Bahasa Malaysia or English.
Report generation of items undergone tagging can be created
RFID Reader and Antenna Pad
Barcode Reader with Stand
Tagging and Arm/Disarm modules
PC included.
The Item Bin Self-return Chute comes standard with a spring actuated platform which sinks and rises according to the collective weight of items on it.
The Item Bin Self-return Chute comes standard with castors that can be secured, therefore ensuring it stays put.
The castors under the Item Bin enable it to be moved around easily.
The Item Bin is constructed using light-weight yet durable material which allows it to be moved around easily.
The Item Bin can accommodate between 150-300 items depending on the size of each item
Comes with a powerful external RFID Reader and Wand Antenna to enable Library Staff to detect tags pasted on items sitting on shelves in any orientation without having to tilt or remove items from the shelves.
A powerful reader also enables Library Staff to detect tags faster because they can slide the Wand Antenna past the shelved items faster.
It is a known fact that because of size limitation, small RFID Readers integrated into Handheld Antennas are not powerful enough to propagate a strong radio signal to detect all the tags on the shelf, thus there will be a significant drop rate which directly affects work effectiveness and efficiency
Hence, for greater effectiveness in detecting tags and enhanced efficiency in human effort, our design utilizes an external powerful RFID Reader and Wand Antenna. Standard features are:
3 hours continuous scanning and 48 hours standby duration
Able to hold more than 1 million items information
Parallel orientation up to max 13cm
Perpendicular orientation up to max 5cm
Maximum scan up to 10 tags per second vertical on shelf
PDA with Stock Take, Item Search and Weeding modules
RFID Tags are of type passive, operate on 13.56 MHz high frequency and adhere to ISO 15693 and ISO 18000-3 standards.
RFID Tags are card sized with approximate dimensions of 85mm x 50mm.
These tags offer better detection rates due to their larger surface area when compared to smaller 48mm x 48mm sized tags used in most Malaysian libraries.
Swing Gate Barrier will have two (2) swing arms, one for each lane of the Hybrid Security Gate.
Both swing arms of the Swing Gate Barrier can be opened together or individually. Interfacing to Hybrid Security Gate will be via a dry contact signal.
The locking mechanism of the. Swing Gate Barrier can be interfaced to the Hybrid Security Gate using a dry contact signal.
When the Gate detects a checked-out item passing through, it will transmit a signal to the Barrier's swing arms to open.
The Swing Gate Barrier is linked to the EAS Security Gate via dry contact signal.
Should an item which has NOT been checked-out properly pass through the gate, the built-in alarm and LED will sound and flash respectively whilst sending a signal to the gate to lock-down.
The gate barrier can be manually reset.
A toggle switch is provided for the Operator to independently open/close the barrier arms
